A kastro is the fortified settlement built at the island's high edge — solid mass and open gate, repeated along the wall. The Kastro Bracelet is built the same way, alternating hollow rectangular links with solid bars channel-set with square blue sapphires.

A bezel-set round diamond caps each end of every sapphire bar, marking the junction where solid meets open. Squared, flat and high-polished throughout, it closes on an integrated box clasp and sits equally well on a man's or a woman's wrist.
