Vespers are sung at the hour the evening star appears. The Vesper Signet puts that star on the hand: a broad round head carved as an eight-point compass rose over a field of fine radial engraving, with a blue sapphire bezel-set dead centre and a small round diamond at each of the four cardinal points.

A square-block dentil border frames the head, and the Greek key runs in relief along the shoulders. It is the most worked piece in the Santorini Edition, and the one that most clearly carries the island's Byzantine and maritime inheritance at once.
